Glad Enterprises, Inc. Releases Tentative Petaluma Speedway 2019 Schedule
Petaluma, CA – Petaluma Speedway located at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds Event Center releases its 2019 racing schedule. Entering our 58th year of operation the historic 3/8th mile facility will see the return of our signature Pit Stop USA Sprint Car Series’ featuring the Winged 360’s and Wingless Spec Sprints. The Winged 360’s are penciled in for 13 races, a pair of which will be the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Series presented by Abreu Vineyards on April 27th and a special Sunday, June 30th show. A pair of Pit Stop USA Shootout events each paying $3,000 to win will be held on May 11th and Sept 7th. The season will culminate with the 8th annual Adobe Cup – $5,000 to win event which will again utilize the modified ASCS-style format. The Wingless Spec Sprints will compete eleven times. Two events will be co-sanctioned and run with the C&H Veteran Enterprises presented by Hunt Magneto Wingless Sprint Car Series. The Wingless Spec Sprint campaign will be highlighted be the 8th Annual Soares Classic 50-lap event. Winged 410 sprint car fans will see the KWS-NARC Fujitsu Racing Series return for a pair of 2019 dates on June 1st & July 13th.
Petaluma Speedway will host thirteen Redwood Dwarf Car Association events which will include a two-day Western States Dwarf Car Association National Event. The South Bay Dwarf Car Association will co-sanction a pair of events and the annual Dwarf Twin-25’s event will be on the season finale, second Adobe Cup Night.
The McLea’s Tire & Automotive IMCA Modifieds, Lumberjack Restaurant Super Stocks, Santa Rosa Auto Body 600’s, and Jake’s Performance Mini Stocks will complete the balance of the championship point’s schedule.
Additional dates to highlight on the calendar will be the return of the Amsoil USAC-CRA Series as part of California Sprint Week on Labor Day Monday, Sept 3rd, the USAC West Coast 360 Series for a pair of events May 18th & Oct 12, the Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets June 9th and co-sanctioning with the USAC Western States Midgets on July 21st.
